CARROT HALWA



Ingredients:

2lbs. or 8 cups grated carrots
1 tin condensed milk(like milk maid)
3/4 cup milk
6 cardamoms
1/4 cup ghee
10 almonds
few raisins
1/2 cup sugar or according to taste
1 teaspoon rose water(optional)

cooking method:

crush cardamoms. fry almonds and raisins in 2 tablespoons of ghee. Squeeze out
some of the juice from the grated carrots. fry the carrots in ghee for 10
minutes stirring continuously. Add condensed milk and milk. Cook for about 20
minutes till the carrot is cooked and started to become a little lumpy add
the sugar and mix well for 5 minutes till the sugar melts
completely. garnish with nuts cardamom and rosewater.
