1/2 kg lamb

1/2 tsp turmeric

1cm cube ginger

1 tbsp garlic paste

1 sprig curry leaves (optional)

2 green chillies

3 tbsp oil

1/4 coconut grated

1 tsp salt

2-3 cups water

1/2 tsp mustard

1/2 tsp sliced onion

1 small onion chopped and grinded into a paste

11/2 tbsp garam masala

1/2 tsp sweet cumin or sounf powder


Cut the meat into small cubes. Take a pan heat 2 tbsp oil and add the chillies coconut  onion paste and cook for 4 minutes now add the lamb and rest of the ingredients except curry leaves, mustard and sliced onion and cook on low flame till the lamb is cooked and the gravy almost dry. Now heat the rest of the oil and add mustard seeds , curry leaves and onion and once the mustard seeds splutter add the lamb curry to it and cook for 5 more minutes and take off heat.
