FISH BAKE (Indian style)


1/2 kg fish (salmon or cod or any fish without bone)

1 finely chopped onion

1 TSP garlic puree

1 tsp. Ginger paste

1 TSP garam masala

1 egg

Salt to taste

1 tsp. Chilli powder

2 TSP oil

1 TSP lime juice

Cooking method:

Poach the fish with 2 -3 TSP of milk in a pan till it is cooked. Shred the cooked fish into fine shreds and keep it aside.

Heat the oil in the cooking pan and the fry the finely chopped onion till golden brown and add ginger garlic paste and fry for3 minutes add the shredded fish salt and fry for 4 minutes add the rest of the ingredients except the egg and mix well and remove from heat.

Take ovenproof dish place the fish mixture in the dish and press it firmly down and even the top. Beat the egg well and pour it over the fish mixture and spread it evenly. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees and bake it for 10 minutes. Serve it as an appetiser or side dish.
