Coconut Lamb Fry


Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 20 minutes

No of serves :6


1 kg Lamb 

1 large onion

2 green chillies

1tbsp garlic paste

1 tbsp ginger

1 tsp chilli powder

salt to taste 

pinch of turmeric

3 tbsp Fresh grated coconut

1 tbsp garam masala

2-3 tbsp oil

1 tbsp lime juice


clean the lamb and cut it into small pieces. Take a non stick pan and heat the oil , chop the onions and chillies and fry them till golden brown add the ginger garlic paste and let it fry for 2 minutes. Now add the lamb and water, salt,chilli powder and turmeric and let it fry till all the water evaporates. Add the coconut and garam masala and fry till the lamb turns nice and brown. Serve hot with rice or roti. Sprinkle some lime juice just before serving.
