Lamb and Tomato Curry

Ingredients:

1/2 kg lamb cut into cubes

2 large red  tomatoes chopped

1 tbsp ginger paste

1 tbsp garlic

1 large onion

1 tbsp chilli powder

11/2 tsp garam masala

pinch of turmeric

1/2 cup water

3 tbsp oil

salt to taste

Method:

Clean the lamb, Heat oil in a pressure cooker or a pan chop the onion finely and add it to the oil, Fry the onion till translucent, Now add the ginger garlic paste fry for 3 minutes, add tomatoes let it cook for 5 minutes and add the lamb, water,  salt, turmeric and chilli powder. Pressure cook it on medium heat for 30 minutes or cook it in the pan till the lamb is done ( this will take longer and needs more water). Take the cooker off from heat and let it cool Once you take off the lid add the garam masala and cook for 5 minutes ( more time if there is too much water)
