1 cup chopped mixed vegetables (peas, carrots and English beans)

1 big potato chopped

2 tomatoes chopped

1 crushed clove of garlic

1 onion chopped

1/2 inch cinnamon stick

3 cardamoms

3 cloves

1 bayleaf

2 TBS sour cream

1 tsp. Chilli powder

salt to taste

3 TBS oil or ghee

Cooking method:

Heat the oil in a sauce pan and add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and bay leaf to it fry till it gives a aromatic smell then add the onion and fry till brown. Now add the crushed garlic fry for 2 minutes, add the vegetables, salt and chilli powder and cook for 15 minutes or till the vegetables are cooked. Reduce the heat add the sour cream and mix well and take off the heat. Serve hot with rice or chapathis or puris.
